The protagonist Brian Robeson in the novel “Hatchet” by Gary Paulsen finds himself stranded in the wilderness with only one essential tool: a hatchet. This single tool becomes Brian’s lifeline and survival companion as he navigates the challenges of the wilderness and seeks to survive against all odds.

Throughout the novel, Brian faces a series of physical, emotional, and mental challenges that test his survival skills, resilience, and ability to adapt to the unforgiving wilderness. These challenges shape his character and lead to personal growth and self-discovery.

Being stranded alone in the wilderness forces Brian to confront his fears, rely on his resourcefulness, and tap into his inner strength. I will stop there since I might be spoiling you too much xD

“Atomic Habits” by James Clear and “Hole in My Life” by Jack Gantos. These two books changed my perspective in life.

For an inspirational book, I recommend The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*** by Mark Manson.

If you’re into prose and poetry I highly recommend Lang Leav’s books like Lullabies, Sea of Strangers, and Love Looks Pretty on You.
