• Can a chatbot be your new best friend? Asking for a friend, of course.

We all need friends, but sometimes it’s hard to find the right ones.

Have you ever considered a chatbot as a potential best friend? Can a chatbot provide the same level of emotional support as a human friend?

I see chatbots like ChatGPT as an assistant that aids me with my work, but as a friend? I haven’t thought of that possibility ’til now. Chatbots may converse like humans and may answer my queries, however they still lack feelings, so I guess it’s still hard to consider them as friends.

I can see the potentials because a chatbot can answer substantial topics than a real human can😊

Chatbot can provide some level of entertainment and companionship but it is also important to maintain a balance and seek out human relationships for more meaningful connections and support.

It’s a great helper that you can count on when doing a task. You can think of it as your work friend.

No, because chatbots responses came from pre-programmed scripts and decision tree

And Chatbot is different from ChatGPT, a specific type of machine learning model trained to generate text in a chatbot-like manner.

No, chatbots can be helpful tools for providing information and assistance, they cannot truly replace the companionship and emotional support that a human best friend provides.

I think potentially they can be, but since they don’t have feelings expect unfiltered replies and textbook answers to your situations when you share about your personal conflict. So I recommend to talk to an actual friend.

I don’t think so since they are “trained models”. AI does not have emotions.

No, Chatbots don’t have feelings and can’t understand the complexities of human emotions and experiences.

No, chatbots can simulate conversation and offer some degree of support but they cannot provide the same level of emotional support as a human friend who has personal experiences and emotions.

While a chatbot may not be able to replace a human friend, it can certainly provide a level of companionship and assistance in certain areas.

other chatbots can’t give you proper suggestion but they can be trained
