The only hope for improving the accuracy and reliability of news and data ChatGPT has is if it is updated with information past 2021.

I agree with this, unless data earlier than 2021 isn’t uploaded or embedded it would only start fact-checking and re-evaluating reliable materials from that year onwards. If we want a more accurate and plausible responses in issues that require it, the AI must be fed data earlier than 2021
