• Best practices for writing content that is optimized for ChatGPT

Posted by James_Vince on March 6, 2023 at 5:53 am

    ChatGPT-optimized authoring tips:

Make it brief: ChatGPT can handle enormous amounts of text quickly, but shorter answers work best. Respond with a few sentences.

Utilize natural language: ChatGPT understands and responds to normal language, so avoid formal or technical terminology.

Be direct: Avoid ambiguity and complication in your answers. ChatGPT works best with simple answers.

Headings and subheadings: help ChatGPT understand larger chunks of material and deliver more targeted responses.

I agree, additionally, f you are writing a prompt,

First, give ChatGPT a little background of the question or the prompt, or give it an idea whatโ€™s the prompt for, or give it an idea about you without disclosing personal information. For example: Say,

[I am someone who has a clothing business, and my business vision is to (blahblahblah)]

Then, after saying a little background, you can now ask a question or a command, for example:

[Thatโ€™s why I need you to write a mission align to the vision of my brand].

This way, ChatGPT will have an idea or a basis as to how it will generate its response. Instead of just simply giving it a command like [Write a mission about a clothing brand.] This is ineffective in a way that it will just create a random response which may not be what you need. Make your prompts specific and personalize.
