• Flaws that makes it Imperfect

Posted by sylphieeee on March 17, 2023 at 8:47 am

There are distinctions that makes AI generated images standout obviously online. One of which is when generating, human or anime images, it is almost guaranteed that the AI would make the hands look terrible, like an amalgamation. How much long do you think before this flaw of AI image generators will be patched up?

It’s important to note that AI image generation is a complex and challenging task that involves not only technical considerations but also ethical and social implications. Therefore, it may take some time before these flaws are fully resolved, and it may require collaboration and cooperation across different fields and stakeholders.

I agree! The pace of progress in addressing flaws in AI image generators will depend on a wide range of factors, including the availability of research funding, the pace of technological innovation, and the level of public awareness and concern about AI ethics and safety. While some issues may be resolved relatively quickly, others may require ongoing research and development efforts over a much longer timeframe.

It is difficult to predict exactly how long it will take for the flaw of AI image generators to be patched up. However, it is possible that the flaw could be patched up relatively quickly if the developers are able to dedicate significant resources to addressing the issue and access the necessary resources to do so.

I guess sooner or later, they will implement watermarks for AI-Generated Images.

I haven’t noticed it when generating images via midjourney thank you for pointing it out. I think it will be improved when the AI has learned enough how to generate a proper hand and looking less like an amalgamation

It is impossible to determine an exact date for when this defect will be fixed since it relies on several variables including the severity of the fault and the resources and priorities of the organizations and people working on AI image generator development.

Thank you for highlighting one of the current limitations of AI image generators, particularly in regards to the quality of hands in generated human or anime images. Improving the realism and coherence of AI-generated images, including the refinement of specific features like hands, is an ongoing area of research and development. While it is difficult to predict an exact timeline, advancements in AI technology are occurring at a rapid pace. As researchers continue to address these flaws and refine image generation models, we can anticipate improvements in the quality and fidelity of generated images over time. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
