Building and maintaining strong working relationships with remote colleagues can be a bit tricky, but it’s totally doable! One key thing to keep in mind is to be mindful of the different time zones and work schedules of your colleagues. It’s important to find ways to support and accommodate their needs.

Personally, I think communication works best, whether it be for idea collaboration, or simply casually conversing. I think maintaining a strong working relationship requires understanding and creating a common ground with the whole team, and this can be done through constant communication.

Communication still is the best way to maintain and build a relationship with your colleagues. Tho sometimes, considering us working remotely, it can be a bit complicated esp when all of us have different perspectives on things that’s why we also have different opinions. But despite all the differences, we should respect one another and understand the bigger picture.

Look for chances to work on projects or initiatives with distant coworkers. Engage them in conversation, ask for their opinion, and value their experience. Shared aims and a sense of teamwork are fostered via collaboration.
-
Encourage brainstorming sessions, seek input from colleagues, and provide constructive feedback. Embrace a collaborative mindset to create a sense of unity despite the physical distance.
-
Be respectful of different time zones, cultural norms, and communication styles.

Remote workers can build and keep strong working relationships through open and effective communication, aggressive contact, collaboration tools, trust and mutual respect, virtual team building, and social activities.
