The jeepney is an important part of Filipino culture because it is used to get around every day and is a part of social events like weddings, fiestas, and other parties. A lot of Filipinos have fond memories of riding in jeepneys and getting to know other people. The jeepney is also often decorated with different religious symbols and cultural symbols. This shows the rich cultural history of the Philippines.

Jeepneys have become an iconic symbol of Philippine transportation and culture since they were first created from leftover US military jeeps after World War II. Today, they remain a vital mode of transportation for many Filipinos and a colorful representation of the country’s unique identity.

The jeeps are easy to repair, you can find parts anywhere or you can retrofit some if you have not found the exact part. Some jeepneys are not from WWII, they were made from newer vehicles.
