Some skills would be collaboration skills which are adjusting to working with colleagues with different time zones and locations, and Adaptability, in which workers should be flexible to changing workloads and priorities

The key to getting along with co-workers when working remotely is to be communicative, collaborative, and respectful. By focusing on these social qualities, you can help build strong relationships with your colleagues, even from a distance.

Agree! It’s also important to be responsive and reliable, to respect your colleagues’ time and schedule, and to be proactive in reaching out and maintaining relationships with your team members.

Personally one best quality you should have is to be Collaborative. Even though you don’t have a shared office, working online doesn’t necessarily mean you’re working solo. You still have a squad to contribute to, and it’s in everyone’s best interest to do so.

The most productive distant workers are able to work together despite the time zone differences that exist among their colleagues. No matter where you and your team members are located, you can all get the job done by learning asynchronous and synchronous communication and using project tracking tools. In addition, the most effective remote employees maintain the same level of team relationships as their in-office counterparts.

Working remotely requires social skills to get along with coworkers. These include good communication, active listening, empathy, teamwork, adaptation, and positivity. Relationships, cooperation, and open communication are essential to a healthy and effective work environment, regardless of distance.
