Some limitations of 3D renderers include longer rendering times for high-quality output, limitations in accurately simulating certain materials and lighting conditions, and the need for powerful hardware to handle complex scenes.

3D rendering software can be complex and require a steep learning curve. It can take some time for users to master the software and learn the various techniques and tools needed to create high-quality renders.

Complexity: The more complex a 3D scene, the longer it takes to render. This can cause significant delays and can be particularly problematic when working on large-scale projects.

In my opinion it has no limit technically, but the limit lies to the creators (e.g. time, materials, effort, interest etc) The bigger and accurate the render the longer it takes the only thing that will limit or hinder the rendering is the patience and effort of the renderer

Time and Cost, Producing and generating highly detailed 3D models can take a long time and be costly, especially for complex projects. This may restrict designers’ and artists’ abilities to produce intricate, realistic scenes.

3D rendering has limitations such as computational demands, real-time constraints, learning curve, uncanny valley, artistic interpretation, accuracy of simulations, and resource intensiveness, but advancements in technology and software development are pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved.

Rendering complex scenes can limit memory capacity of the device. Memory-intensive textures, models, and shader networks limit scene size and complexity.

Simulating complex materials accurately can be challenging. Materials with intricate properties, such as subsurface scattering, volumetric effects, or intricate textures, may require additional computational resources and specialized techniques to render realistically.
