Once upon a time, in a land of dreams,
A fairy lived, with silent, silent screams
Her love, a secret she kept,
But it forever drowned her heart.

She was there for him, through his darkest days,
And whispered words of strength when he couldn’t believe.
She held him close, when he wanted to let go,
And helped him to rise when he felt so low.
.
Years went by, her love for him never faded.
She stood by his side, through good and bad,
But he never knew, her heart ached and shattered.
As she watched him love another, it made her so sad.
.
One day, he loved another, a real girl young and bright,
And he fell in love, without a fight.
The fairy’s heart grew heavy with sorrow and grief,
As she watched him leave, and her love, a forgotten belief.
.
But still she stayed, her love never wavered,
Silently watching, her feelings never tempered.
For deep down she knew, in her heart so true,
That her love, can’t be bested by his new
.
And so, the fairy, with a heart full of love
Watches from the shadows, as the one she loves
Is by another’s side, with a smile so bright
But little does the other know, that he holds her heart tight.
.
In secret moments, when the world is asleep
They share whispered words, and hearts that beat
In perfect harmony, their love is true
But it must remain hidden, for the feelings are only for two.
.
And so, she watches, with a heavy heart
As he lives his life, with another to play a part
But deep in her soul, she knows it’s true
That her love for him, will forever ensue.

with all her heart,
and all her soul.
Tinkerbell, who has always loved Peter Pan.
